September 18, 2026
Associate Sam White joined the Undisclosed: Toward Justice podcast to discuss the wrongful conviction of Chris Bynum, one of the firm's pro bono clients. He was accompanied by Nicky Ali Jackson, Ph.D., who is also advocating for Chris as a Professor of Criminal Justice at Purdue University Northwest and Executive Director of the Center for Justice and Exoneration Network. The episode, "TJ Weekly – Free Chris Bynum," examines evidence that challenges Bynum's original conviction, as part of an in-depth discussion on forensics and advocacy for the wrongfully convicted.
Undisclosed, produced by lawyers Rabia Chaudry, Colin Miller, and Susan Simpson, re-investigates the cases of people convicted of crimes they say they did not commit, working directly with innocence projects, defendants, and their families across the country. Over more than ten years, the podcast's investigations have contributed to 15 exonerations, two stays of execution, a commutation from death row, a sentence commutation, a Juvenile Justice Act resentencing, a grant of parole, and a vacated conviction.
The Jenner team is led by Partner Andrew Vail, and Associates Sam White, Lauren Spungen, and Justin Iannacone.
