Sam White received his JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. While in law school, he worked on civil rights investigations and matters at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform. Sam also worked as a student-attorney for two years for the Michigan Innocence Clinic, representing wrongfully convicted men and women in Michigan. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Steven Tiscione at the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Before law school, Sam worked in local government for four years, serving in the administration of Mayor Stephanie A. Miner in Syracuse, New York. At Jenner & Block, he represents clients in complex and sensitive investigations and matters. Sam also maintains an active pro bono practice.
