Lauren graduated from the University of Chicago Law School and clerked for the Honorable Deborah Thorne on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While in law school, Lauren served as Editor-In-Chief of The University of Chicago Legal Forum. She spent two years as a student attorney in the Exoneration Project Clinic and received the Edwin F. Mandel Award for her representation of wrongfully convicted clients. Lauren also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Andrea Wood on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
