Partners Rebekah Goodheart, Aaron Cooper, and Luke Platzer to Speak at Practising Law Institute’s Broadband and Cable Industry Law Program
Rebekah Goodheart, Co-Chair of the Communications, Internet, and Technology Practice, Aaron Cooper, founding Co-Chair of the Critical and Emerging Technologies Practice, and Partner Luke Platzer will speak at Practising Law Institute’s Broadband and Cable Industry Law 2025 program on May 13.
As event co-chair, Rebekah will moderate three panels: “Increased State Regulation of Cable and Broadband,” “Priorities and Current Issues at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC),” and “Updates on Rollout and Deployment of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program and Other Federal Deployment Programs.”
Aaron will participate in the panel, “Cybersecurity and National Security Issues in Broadband and Cable,” addressing emerging trends and developments in cybersecurity and national security issues impacting broadband networks.
Luke will join the panel “Impact of Poles and Franchising Developments on Broadband Networks,” which will discuss conflicts in these areas, issues facing new entrants and incumbents, and policies that promote both efficient deployment and protection of existing facilities and rights of way.
