On August 17, David Greenwald will speak at "Fitting New “Tech” Into the Attorney-Client Privilege and Work Product Protection," a virtual program hosted by the Practising Law Institute (PLI).
The session will examine how courts and ethics opinions are approaching attorney-client privilege and work product protections regarding new technologies—including generative AI and collaborative communications platforms. Discussion will address how in-house and outside counsel can use these tools in ways that will preserve privilege.
David is a recognized authority on privilege and work product issues, co-editing the treatise Testimonial Privileges and Lex Mundi's Global Attorney-Client Privilege Guide. He regularly advises clients and in-house teams on structuring investigations, internal communications, and the use of emerging technologies to protect sensitive and privileged information.
