Partners Aaron Cooper and Madeleine Findley to Speak at Privacy & Security Academy's 2025 Fall Forum
Aaron Cooper and Madeleine Findley, Co-Chairs of Jenner & Block’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice, will speak on a panel at Privacy & Security Academy’s Fall Forum on November 12.
The panel will explore the national security imperatives driving US efforts to lead in frontier AI development and the complex legal and policy challenges this creates. Panelists will discuss how policymakers must balance preventing advanced US technologies from reaching adversaries while establishing US technology as the global foundation for democratic AI development. The discussion will cover US actions in data security, export controls, infrastructure, and working with international partners who have differing AI values and ties to US rivals.
Leveraging his cross-sector experience from the National Security Council, Department of Justice, and Senate Intelligence Committee, Aaron helps clients navigate compliance, investigations, and policy making at the dynamic intersection of emerging technologies, geopolitical competition, and national security.
Madeleine focuses on helping companies navigate the increasingly complex set of laws and regulations applicable to data privacy and communications matters. She has experience in high-visibility issues, including data privacy advocacy and counseling, net neutrality, broadband deployment and adoption, infrastructure, and incident response.
