In a recent article for ICLG, Partner Lucy Blake  highlights that rather than harmonising the myriad of overlapping EU ESG laws, or providing guidance on areas of uncertainty, the EU ESG Omnibus proposals have in fact introduced still more confusion by relitigating adopted legislation. Lucy cautioned that large global companies were “not off the hook” and “should not take their foot off the pedals when it comes to investing in their compliance programmes.”
