On September 30, 2020, Jenner & Block Partners Anne Cortina Perry and Alison Stein will co-present a CLE webinar hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel – New York City chapter. The program will examine approaches to addressing workplace culture concerns after the inception of the #MeToo movement and potential considerations for investigations in the era of Black Lives Matter activism,and highlight ethical obligations including those under Rule 8.4(g). The discussion will cover practical and strategic considerations specific to conducting investigations, preparing for potential litigation, and managing internal constituencies in sensitive and complex matters. The webinar starts at 3 pm and is open to ACC-NY members. It will provide one credit hour in ethics and is suitable for non-transitional (experienced) attorneys. Ms. Perry is a partner in the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice and Litigation Practice. She represents, defends, and advises corporations and individuals in federal and state criminal cases, civil litigations and investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island District Attorney’s offices, as well as the NYC Department of Investigation. Ms. Stein is a partner in the firm’s nationally recognized Content, Media & Entertainment Practice and the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.
