Pulse of Partnerships: An Evening with Chicago Alumni and Clients

Jenner & Block welcomed Chicago-area alumni and clients back to 353 N. Clark Street on July 29 for an evening of reconnecting, celebrating, and looking ahead together.

After a remarkable few years, the firm saw no better moment to bring together the people who help define it. Alumni now leading legal and business functions across Chicago returned to celebrate the ties that continue to connect them to the firm, from mentorship to community events to career resources available through Jennerations.

“Alumni and clients are the pulse of the firm: the through line of activity that keeps it moving, year after year, no matter how much else changes,” said Chicago Office Managing Partner Melissa Root.

Clients joined the evening as well, a reflection of partnerships built over years of collaboration. Their presence was a reminder that the firm’s strongest relationships, with alumni and clients alike, are built to last well beyond any single matter or role.

Pulse for Partnership Collage

The event, “Pulse of Partnerships,” is part of Jennerations, the firm’s alumni program connecting former colleagues through events, mentorship, and shared resources.

Earlier in the month, the firm launched the Jennerations alumni portal, giving alumni a new home base for staying in touch with the firm and each other: from a searchable alumni directory to career resources and event updates, all in one place.
