“Leading and Managing Through an Existential Crisis,” Association of Corporate Counsel Southern California
Partners Jennifer Lee, Alex Romain, and Todd C. Toral will present a CLE designed to help in-house counsel respond to corporate turmoil. All three partners, based in Jenner & Block’s West Coast offices, have significant experience guiding a variety of clients through crises.
During the CLE, panelists and participants will explore a case study to describe how in-house counsel can effectively respond to and manage corporate turmoil – and how best to avoid it. The case study will be examined through three lenses: immediate response and mitigation, internal investigations and litigation strategy, and government and regulatory scrutiny. Jenner’s partners will offer practical tips for in-house counsel who represent clients facing a corporate crisis. They will address the complex and potentially competing needs of internal and external stakeholders, employees, the government, and the public.
Sponsored by Jenner and hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel, the program will be held in-person at the Griffin Club, 3084 Motor Avenue, Los Angeles.
Jennifer represents public and pre-IPO companies, corporate officers, financial institutions, and asset management firms in regulatory investigations, internal investigations, and litigation.
Alex focuses his practice on representing individuals and corporations in a range of high-stakes complex commercial litigation, white collar defense, and internal investigations.
Todd represents clients in the financial services, insurance, entertainment, and real estate sectors when they need guidance on regulatory enforcement, fiduciary obligations, or litigation.
