Partners Alison Stein, Andrew Thomas, and Cayman Mitchell will present at the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law, taking place February 5-7 in Phoenix, Arizona. The ABA Forum on Communications Law's Annual Meeting brings together leading communications law practitioners, in-house counsel, academics, and judges to discuss the latest developments in media, First Amendment, technology, and entertainment law.
Alison, co-chair of Jenner’s AI Task Force, will co-lead the session "In-House Forum: The Practicalities of Generative AI in Our Workplaces" on February 5. The discussion, targeted for in-house counsel, will focus on generative AI governance, policy implementation, risk mitigation, compliance, and regulatory compliance.
Andrew will co-lead a workshop on Entertainment Law on February 6-7. This will include a lively discussion of hot topics in entertainment law—including updates on AI cases, First Amendment protections against trademark claims, Anti-SLAPP law developments, and 'duty of care'.
Cayman has been named a “rising star” and will co-lead a February 6-7 workshop on Social Media and Advertising. The workshop will explore the evolving legal landscape for social media and digital advertising, including concerning use of AI, IP infringement, influencers, FTC rules, consumer class actions, and data privacy.
