“Permitting and Compliance – Policy and Implementation Hurdles and Lessons,” Environmental Justice: From Policy to Practice
Associate Daniel Robertson will present at the Air & Waste Management Association’s first specialty conference designed to explore issues of policy and practice in the environmental justice sector. Called Environmental Justice: From Policy to Practice, the two-day conference will provide a forum for discussion about scientific, technical, legal, and related policy issues relevant to environmental justice.
In his presentation, Daniel will offer an overview of environmental justice enforcement trends, as well as how companies can embrace environmental justice and community stakeholder concerns in their practices in ways that advance corporate objectives and achieve environmental goals. His session, “Permitting and Compliance – Policy and Implementation Hurdles and Lessons,” will be held on October 24 from 3:30 to 4:50 pm ET. The conference is at the Westin Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.
