Jenner & Block Partner Neil M Barofsky, former Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP), will join Brian Miller, Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery (SIGPR), in a CLE webcast. As SIGTARP, Mr. Barofsky oversaw the financial assistance provided to corporations after the 2008 financial crisis. As SIGPR, Mr. Miller is charged with identifying and combating fraud and waste connected to the distribution of hundreds of billions of dollars appropriated as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
