Alumni Newsletter

March 2024

We are delighted to share the latest issue of our Alumni Newsletter. There have been many exciting things happening—both within the firm and across our alumni community.

In this issue, we celebrate 2023, our strongest year yet. We added exceptional new laterals to our ranks, contributed significantly to our communities through pro bono service, and announced the opening of our seventh office in Century City, expanding our footprint in Los Angeles and deepening our commitment to our clients in California.

In addition, we celebrate the recent federal judicial nominations by President Biden of three of our esteemed alumni, Amir Ali  to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia; Sunil Harjani to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and Nicole Berner to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. We also congratulate our former Partners Aaron Cooper, who recently joined the White House as Deputy Legal Advisor to the National Security Council, and Rachel Alpert, who recently joined the United States Treasury Department to serve as Chief Counsel of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). We also hear from our former colleague Chinh Q. Le as he reflects on his time at Jenner and on his current role as a professor at the University of Virginia School of Law.

We hope you enjoy this issue, and we invite you to follow our Jenner & Block Alumni LinkedIn group to stay up to date on what's happening at Jenner. Please continue to share your news and updates with us—we love hearing from you!
