With the 24th edition of The Heart of the Matter, we celebrate an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to pro bono service. In 2024, Jenner & Block exceeded $100 million in pro bono for the first time, surpassing our five-year goal of $250 million in free legal services 18 months ahead of schedule. Four years into our 5-year, $250 million commitment, we have already contributed more than $305 million in pro bono services.

On February 2, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted asylum to a pro bono client who was evacuated from Afghanistan in August 2021 as part of Operation Allies Welcome (OAW).

On May 25, Jenner & Block’s Washington, DC office was honored by the DC Circuit Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services at its “40 at 50” Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Breakfast.
