Jenner & Block Files Amicus Brief on Behalf of Leading Economists in Supreme Court Tariff Case
Jenner & Block filed an amicus brief before the Supreme Court of the United States on behalf of prominent economists in Learning Resources, Inc., et al. v. Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, et al. The brief provides economic analysis regarding emergency tariffs imposed by President Trump under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).
Jenner & Block filed an amicus brief before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on behalf of a distinguished group of economists in V.O.S. Selections, Inc. v. Trump. The brief supports plaintiffs challenging President Trump's use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose sweeping "reciprocal tariffs" on global imports.
Aaron Cooper Returns to Jenner & Block from United States National Security Council
Jenner & Block is pleased to announce that Aaron Cooper has rejoined the firm as a partner in the Washington, DC office. Aaron will serve as the founding co-chair of the firm’s new Critical and Emerging Technologies Practice.
