Will Jones is a special counsel in the firm’s London office and a key member of Jenner & Block’s Public Law and Crisis Management Practice. Well-versed in regulatory engagement and advocacy, he supports clients as they manage intricate relationships with their partners, customers, stakeholders, and regulators in both the public and private sectors.
Will has a distinguished track record in advising clients on complex legal and regulatory challenges, particularly in the areas of judicial reviews, public inquiries, public procurement, crisis management, and commercial disputes. He has represented clients across a broad range of sectors, including in the healthcare and life sciences, defence, technology, media, and financial services spaces. Having litigated all levels of the English courts, including the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, Will has also acted for clients involved in disputes in foreign and supranational courts. He additionally has extensive experience in multijurisdictional dispute resolution, including matters involving sanctions regimes, licensing, supply and collaboration agreements, and joint ventures. Will is particularly skilled in achieving out-of-court solutions through bespoke alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation. He has also advised clients on regulatory risk, including in connection with major public inquiries.
A qualified solicitor advocate, Will is fluent in Spanish and has completed secondments at a leading pharmaceutical company and at an Am Law 100 top ten firm in Madrid. Pro bono work is an important part of Will’s practice, and he has represented a number of NGOs, charities, and advocacy groups on issues ranging from child refugees’ rights to the legal impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on children and young people.
