Laurel assists clients involved in appellate and trial litigation involving complex issues of commercial, constitutional, and state law. She has co-authored briefs and case-dispositive motions in the US Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, and federal district courts. She also draws on her experience to help clients navigate regulatory challenges across a variety of subject areas.

Laurel received her JD from Yale Law School, where she taught legal research and writing, served as a Coker Fellow and teaching assistant for Constitutional Law, was Notes editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review, and participated in the Veteran’s Legal Services Clinic. Between semesters, she interned at the Campaign Legal Center and Jenner & Block. Before law school, Laurel worked as a journalist in Washington DC, interned for Senator Patrick Leahy, and completed a Fulbright in Southeast Turkey.
