Special Counsel Lauren Greene Recognized among the Nation’s “Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40”

Jenner & Block Special Counsel Lauren M. Greene has been named among the nation’s “Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40” by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. She will be recognized at the annual Lavender Law Conference in July.
Ms. Greene is a member of Jenner & Block’s nationally recognized Content, Media and Entertainment Practice and focuses her practice on music, entertainment, and intellectual property litigation. She has extensive experience representing a wide variety of entertainment industry clients including music publishers, songwriters, television and film producers, independent studios, and video game publishers and developers. Ms. Greene was an integral part of the team that obtained a victory in the Ninth Circuit and defeated a subsequent summary judgment motion in the litigation over the song “Shake it Off.”
As a member of the firm’s African American Affinity Group and LGBTQ Forum, Ms. Greene serves as a mentor to younger lawyers. She is committed to community involvement and currently serves as a Co-President of the LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, as well as serves as LLALA’s membership chair. Ms. Greene is also an Emeritus Associate Board Member of the Shelter Partnership, an organization which addresses homelessness in Los Angeles.
