Partner Susan Kohlmann Receives 2026 Woman Who Dares Award

On April 21, Partner Susan Kohlmann was recognized by the National Council of Jewish Women New York (NCJWNY) with its Woman Who Dares Award. This award honors women who are compassionate, courageous, and powerful; women who are leaders in their fields; women who inspire and empower other women; and women who make a real difference in the lives of New Yorkers.

As Co-Chair of the firm’s Trademark, Advertising, and Unfair Competition Practice, Susan is regularly called upon in high-stakes intellectual property and commercial disputes. She has successfully litigated numerous high-profile cases, including a $100 million trademark infringement victory for ViacomCBS and a successful jury trial win for Diageo protecting its famous Bulleit whiskey brand.

Susan served as President of the New York City Bar Association from 2022 to 2024 and was named “Attorney of the Year” by New York Law Journal in 2022.
