Of Counsel Daniel Murray has been named a 2026 Vanguard Award honoree by the Chicago Bar Association (CBA). Dan was nominated by the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago for the award, which is presented annually by the CBA to honor lawyers, jurists, and institutions who promote strength, professionalism, and diversity across the Chicagoland legal community.
Dan has been a member of and active in the CBA for over 55 years. Dan has served the Catholic Lawyers Guild in numerous leadership roles, including as a member of its Board of Governors since 2010 and previously as its President from 2016 to 2017. He received the Guild’s Catholic Lawyer of the Year Award in 2007 and its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.
A member of the firm's Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Business Litigation practices, Dan has focused his career on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, commercial law, and secured transactions. He served as the firm’s Managing Partner from 1984 to 1986.
