2023 Chambers USA Recognizes 33 Practice Areas, 66 Lawyers from Jenner & Block

Jenner & Block has been recognized as a leading firm in 33 practice areas in the 2023 edition of Chambers USA. The recognition includes practice rankings in 10 national and 23 state categories.

Jenner & Block was honored among “The Elite” for Corporate Crime & Government Investigations. The firm was described as “adept at handling criminal and civil proceedings as well as internal investigations into FCPA violations, public corruption and securities fraud,” as well as for handling cases concerning potential violations of the False Claims Act in the industrial manufacturing space and for providing “ongoing compliance advice to clients on both domestic and international anticorruption laws.”

Jenner & Block’s Government Contracts and Grants Practice was also honored among “The Elite” for its “well-respected practice with notable experience of advising clients on a host of issues including bid protests, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance.”

The firm achieved a national ranking in Native American Law, and a Band 1 national ranking for Native American Law: Appellate, where it was commended for its “tremendous depth” and “notable experience acting before the federal and state courts.”

Jenner & Block Wins Landmark Supreme Court Victory in Chatrie v. United States

Jenner & Block Partner Adam Unikowsky has secured a landmark victory at the Supreme Court of the United States in Chatrie v. United States, with the Court holding by a 6-3 vote that accessing a person’s location data in the cloud is a “search” under the Fourth Amendment, requiring law enforcement to obtain a warrant satisfying the Constitution’s probable cause and particularity requirements.
