The gathering will cover fundamental challenges in applying legal analysis to the rapidly evolving landscape of AI development and regulation, as well as more applied questions around AI liability and insurance law, the regulation of compute, and the role of existing institutions and procedures.

Steven and Nikita are members of the firm's AI task force and Critical and Emerging Technologies practice.

Prior to joining Jenner, Steven served as an active-duty Judge Advocate in the US Marine Corps. He also clerked for the Honorable Fernando Rodriguez, Jr., US District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. Nikita previously served as Director for Technology and National Security at the White House National Security Council, where she covered semiconductor and AI policy, and as a Senior Advisor at the Department of Commerce’s CHIPS Program Office. She clerked for Judge Raymond J. Lohier, Jr., on the Second Circuit, and Judge J. Paul Oetken in the Southern District of New York.
