Jeremy Creelan and Laurel Loomis Rimon, Co-Chairs of the firm’s Fintech and Crypto Assets Practice, will co-moderate a webinar event in collaboration with the American Fintech Counsel (AFC) on October 2.

The webinar will discuss how evolving business models, fintech partnerships, and shifting government priorities are creating new complexities in KYC compliance and anti-money laundering programs. Attendees will learn best practices for managing customer due diligence, defining ownership in partner arrangements, and mitigating risks in cross-border compliance functions.

Jeremy combines a long record of litigating disputes with extensive regulatory investigations experience. He helps clients navigate state and federal regulatory investigations, particularly in financial services, energy, public ethics and lobbying law.

Laurel is a former federal prosecutor with deep experience in the financial regulatory and enforcement sector and is a leading practitioner and thought leader in the emerging blockchain ecosystem.
