On May 4, Partner Annie Kastanek will speak on a panel at the Seventh Circuit Bar Association’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Conference at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago.
The session, titled “Plenary Session I: Seventh Circuit Review,” will explore how the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals is evolving and what challenges lie ahead for the bench and bar.
As Co-Chair of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Practice, Annie is a leading authority on federal appellate practice in the Seventh Circuit and a dedicated advocate before the US Courts of Appeals, with particular focus on criminal law, antitrust, and complex civil litigation. She is widely recognized for her deep familiarity with the Seventh Circuit's judges and jurisprudence, having clerked for Judge Kenneth F. Ripple of the Seventh Circuit before clerking for Justice Anthony M. Kennedy at the US Supreme Court.
