Intellectual Property Institute, New York City Bar Association’s Council on Intellectual Property
Partner Susan Kohlmann, President of the New York City Bar Association, and Partner Gianni Servodidio will speak at the inaugural Intellectual Property Institute. Co-sponsored by Jenner & Block, the New York City Bar Association’s Council on Intellectual Property will host the full-day event offering a review of trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in today’s intellectual property practice.
Susan will provide welcome remarks, and Gianni will serve as a panelist at a discussion called “Fair Use/First Amendment,” which will examine the Supreme Court’s decision in Jack Daniels v. VIP Products and other First Amendment and fair use decisions affecting the fair use landscape.
Susan and Gianni are Co-Chairs of the firm’s Trademark Practice. Susan focuses her practice on helping clients, including entertainment and media industry giants, faced with critical issues threatening the ability to leverage their creative works and key brands. Gianni represents Fortune 500 companies in trademark and copyright infringement, false advertising, and content protection matters in courts nationwide.
