This session will provide a survey of key issues and trends impacting the fintech and digital assets community as well as the future opportunities and challenges presented for these financial products and services. It will cover third-party risk management issues, bank-fintech partnerships, and an overview of recent enforcement actions involving Fintech and Crypto companies. It will also highlight current litigation issues and risks, as well as outline the areas of primary focus by regulators in this area, particularly the SEC, prudential banking regulators, NYDFS, CFPB, and others. The presentation will also include a discussion of recent appellate and Supreme Court activity affecting the cryptocurrency industry.
