Tal Ratner Solovey is a litigator who helps clients navigate complex disputes with a focus on their ultimate business goals. Tal represents private equity managers and portfolio companies in the aerospace, manufacturing, and film industries across all phases of litigation as plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. He also maintains an active pro bono litigation practice, representing plaintiffs in civil rights litigation and victims of fraud and domestic abuse.
Tal has been a key member of several litigation teams, with experience developing comprehensive litigation strategy, authoring pleadings, discovery and dispositive motions, managing fact discovery, taking depositions, and examining witnesses at trial. Recognizing that litigation is one tool among many, Tal takes time to understand each client’s business beyond the immediate objectives of the litigation and brings creative, strategic thinking to help clients achieve outcomes that serve their broader goals. When the odds are long, Tal doesn’t shy away from the challenge. He builds a strategy grounded in a realistic path to success and executes.
In 2022, Tal was one of 14 law students and early-career lawyers chosen from around the world to be awarded the Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). Tal is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces. He is fluent in Hebrew and Russian.
