Michaela Croft helps clients navigate complex multi-party disputes before the English courts and arbitral tribunals. Michaela advises companies and financial institutions regarding disputes in a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on contractual disputes, as well as fraud and economic tort claims, restructuring and contentious insolvency situations, and shareholder / joint venture disputes.
Drawing on experience working on cases from the pre-action stage through to the UK Supreme Court, Michaela advises clients on the full litigation process and strategic steps to achieve favorable resolutions. She also has considerable experience in post-judgment/award enforcement matters. With an active pro bono practice, Michaela is proud to sit on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
Following a six-month period working in the international office of a firm in Asia, Michaela’s fee-earning and pro-bono practice maintains a strong international nature. In addition to her experience in the UK, she has worked on cross-border proceedings in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, and a number of off-shore jurisdictions.
