Florian Fuhrimann represents corporations and individuals in connection with government and internal investigations in a variety of subject-matter areas and counsels corporate clients on compliance issues. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, he worked as an associate at an international law firm in Switzerland. His work included conducting internal investigations and representing clients before arbitral tribunals and state courts in complex, cross-border disputes related to a variety of subject-matters.
In 2017, Florian was assigned to the Swiss Military Tribunal as a judicial clerk. In this role, he composed judgments in over 30 trial proceedings.
Florian graduated from the University of Basel with a Bachelor of Law and a master of law (2015, summa cum laude) degree. He has been admitted to the bar of Switzerland since 2018. He received a PhD degree from the University of Basel (2021, insigne cum laude) for his thesis on the concept of sovereignty of nation states in the context of the free movement of persons. In 2022, Florian graduated from New York University School of Law with a second master’s degree (LLM in International Business Regulation, Litigation, and Arbitration).
