Emily Merrifield assists businesses and Native American tribal nations with sensitive internal and government-initiated investigations. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of industries, including the energy, financial, food, sports, and technology sectors. In addition to investigations work, Emily advises companies and international NGOs on issues involving trade sanctions compliance and supply chain and human rights accountability.
As a former Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow with Northwestern’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, Emily maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on asylum, criminal defense, and reproductive justice. She serves on the firm’s Associates Committee.
