Eleanor Slota comes to Jenner & Block from Georgetown University Law Center, where she focused her academic pursuits on litigation, particularly election law, and served as an Executive Notes Editor on The Georgetown Law Journal. As a student lawyer in the Civil Rights Clinic, Eleanor assisted clients by writing motions, facilitating and organizing discovery, and by conducting oral arguments in support of several motions before the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia. While attending law school, Eleanor interned at Brady: United Against Gun Violence and at the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
Prior to law school, Eleanor worked for several years in Washington, DC, as a finance director for Democratic congressional and senate campaigns. She graduated from Yale University in 2017 with distinction in both Political Science and Theater Studies.
