Clare Hennessey is Special Counsel in the firm’s London office, where clients rely on her to resolve complex, high-value commercial disputes through litigation before the English courts and in international proceedings.
Clare’s broad experience spans complex civil fraud, breaches of contract and warranty, shareholder and joint venture disputes, professional negligence, and competition and regulatory investigations, in sectors including finance, energy, construction, automotive, telecommunications, and professional services. She has experience representing clients in cartel damages actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and in international arbitration.
In recognition of her active pro bono practice, Clare has been featured on the Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales every year since its inception. Her pro bono work includes advising the human rights organization Reprieve, working with Help Refugees UK on the relocation of child refugees from Calais to the UK, and advising a UK charity on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)-related matters. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Clare worked in the London office of a large international firm for 10 years.
