Chris brings his prior regulatory, public policy, investigation, and litigation experiences to his current practice. While in law school at the University of Michigan, Chris completed internships at the US Department of Justice, the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and the Aspen Institute. He was an editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform and the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law. His thought leadership on state debt collection litigation contributed to the publication of a comprehensive policy solutions guide, creation of a law school course, and a report and recommendations from the Michigan Justice For All Commission.  Chris also received his Master of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He taught courses on Congress, American Politics, Economics, Quantitative Program Evaluation, and Values and Ethics to graduate and undergraduate students.

Prior to law school, Chris worked at the Iowa Attorney General and the Iowa Legislature. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with high honors from the University of Iowa.
