On February 27, Chicago-based Partner Andrew Vail along with Associates Chris Blythe, Savannah McNeily, and Vaughn Olson will present during a Chicago Bar Association CLE hosted by the Civil Practice Committee on recent updates to Illinois civil rules and procedures. The CLE will also feature an update from the Chicago Bar Association’s Legislative Liaison, as well as a discussions of good faith findings and civility in civil practice, featuring perspectives from the bench and in-house counsel.
Jenner & Block lawyers will lead presentations about different aspects of preserving the record for appeal in civil practice in a CLE sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association. In a panel called “Preserving the Record for Appeal,” Partners Annie Kastanek and Gabi Gillett will discuss the benefits of including appellate counsel in a trial team, covering everything from strategic input on legal strategy to jury instructions to options for interlocutory appeal.
