Andrew G. Sullivan assists clients in disputes involving copyright and trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, invasion of privacy and publicity rights, as well as business torts including unfair competition, fraud, tortious interference, and breach of contract.
Andrew’s experience litigating in state and federal courts includes serving on a small trial team that secured a $940 million jury verdict on behalf of a medical software company, one of the largest trade secret verdicts in US history. He also helped secure a victory on behalf of Fox when the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit published an appellate decision affirming a Pennsylvania federal court’s dismissal of a copyright lawsuit alleging that the hit television show Empire infringed an earlier work.
Andrew maintains an active pro bono practice, including a recent partnership with the ACLU to obtain a favorable settlement for pro bono clients in a class action lawsuit that successfully challenged a California city’s discriminatory housing ordinances. Prior to law school, he worked as an associate producer of national primetime programming at ABC News.
