Partner Andrew Vail Reelected as Secretary for Chicago Bar Association
Partner Andrew Vail has been reelected as the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) Secretary for the 2026–2027 term. He will serve alongside President Trisha M. Rich, First Vice President Kathryn Carso Liss, Second Vice President Jonathan B. Amarilio, and Treasurer Adam Zebelian.

On July 16, 2024, President Biden announced a proposal to pass legislation capping rent increases to no more than 5% on properties held by corporate landlords, with an exception for new construction and substantial renovation or rehabilitation.
