Jenner & Block Advises Constellation Energy in Historic $340 Million Conowingo Dam Settlement
Jenner & Block advised its client Constellation Energy in connection with a historic $340 million settlement agreement reached by the State of Maryland, Constellation, and local environment groups to secure the re-licensing and continued operation of the Conowingo Hydroelectric Project on the Susquehanna River, the largest source of renewable energy in the state.
Jenner & Block Represents PG&E in Partnership with Citizens Energy Corporation
The firm’s Energy and Corporate Practices advised Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) on the creation of a transmission lease program pursuant to which nonprofit Citizens Energy Corporation (Citizens) could invest up to $1 billion in PG&E high-voltage transmission projects. PG&E has filed with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for approval of the program.
