Recognition
November 27, 2024
Partners Alexis Early, Sam Feder, and David Robbins have been named to The Washingtonian’s 2024 “Top Lawyers” list in the National Security, Communications, and Government Contracts categories, respectively. The annual list recognizes Washington’s top legal talent, as voted by area lawyers.
As a partner in Jenner’s National Security and Crisis Practice, Alexis helps clients navigate complex business challenges related to the cross-border flow of goods, software, technology, funds, and investment capital. She counsels clients on sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering, and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) matters.
Co-Chair of the firm’s Communications, Internet, and Technology Practice, Sam is trusted by telecommunications and media clients to remove the legal and regulatory obstacles that stand in the way of their future business goals. A former general counsel of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), he defends against the country’s most high-stakes enforcement actions, secures approval for hotly contested mergers and licensing transactions and litigates communications-related disputes.
When clients face high-stakes matters, complex internal investigations, and strategic transactions, they turn to David, Co-Chair of Jenner & Block’s Government Contracts and Grants Practice. As an experienced litigator, investigations lawyer, and strategic business counselor, David advises government contractors, grant recipients, and their owners, executives, and investors. He advises clients on civil False Claims Act defense, parallel civil and criminal fraud enforcement proceedings, whistleblower reprisal defense, compliance, strategic corporate transactions, claims, appeals, and more.
