Jenner & Block’s Investigations Practice Solidifies Global Standing at GIR Awards: Joins Elite GIR30

Led by an experienced, cross-office team, Jenner & Block’s Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice was recognized for excellence on the international stage by Global Investigations Review (GIR). 

At its ninth annual awards ceremony on November 16, GIR elevated the practice from its ranking in the GIR100 to the GIR30 – a guide to the 30 most elite investigations practices.

In the past year, Co-Managing Partner and practice Co-Chair Katya Jestin was appointed as monitor for Glencore Ltd., where she is evaluating it market conduct compliance program, and Partner Shoba Pillay served as examiner following the bankruptcy of cryptocurrency lending platform Celsius Network, among other notable investigations and monitorships.

The firm also welcomed several former government officials this year, further bolstering the experience we offer clients who are grappling with government investigations, complex criminal prosecutions, civil enforcement proceedings, and non-government investigations. The additions include:
