The Illinois Appellate Court, First District, affirmed the dismissal of a putative consumer class action against Jenner & Block client BMO, confirming that there was no merit to claims of consumer fraud, deceptive practices, or related claims about how the bank handled dormant account fees.

Jenner & Block successfully defended Peloton Interactive, Inc. and individual defendants against a putative securities class action brought by Robeco Capital Growth Funds SICAV and the City of Hialeah Employees' Retirement System, securing dismissal of all remaining claims at the pleading stage. Plaintiffs may seek leave to amend by September 28.
