Partner Rachel Alpert to Participate in ABA’s Sanctions and Export Controls Panel
Rachel Alpert, Co-Chair of Jenner & Block’s National Security and Crisis Practice, will join a panel hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) on November 4.
The panel will discuss enforcement objectives and emerging trends across the federal agencies responsible for sanctions and trade-related enforcement. Panelists will offer insight on how broader trade policies intersect with enforcement goals and provide practical advice to industry participants on how to navigate enforcement in the current environment.
Rachel guides multinational companies and institutions through the complex landscape of US sanctions, export controls, and national security regulations. Drawing on her experience as Chief Counsel at the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Rachel helps clients understand not only what the law requires, but how policy is shaped and implemented across government.
