Partner Gregory Boyle to Speak at PLI's Understanding the Securities Laws 2026
On June 3, Partner Gregory Boyle will speak on a panel at the Practising Law Institute's (PLI) Understanding the Securities Laws 2026 program.
The panel, "Navigating Ethics and Professionalism Requirements in Securities Law Practice," will address the professional responsibility rules and best practices that lawyers in SEC practice regularly encounter. The session will cover the ethical implications of whistleblower rules, the professional responsibility considerations that arise when lawyers serve as gatekeepers or become investigational targets, ethical issues in preparing SEC filings, compliance obligations in Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the ethical dimensions of counseling clients on disclosure obligations.
Co-Chair of Jenner's Markets and Trading Practice, Gregory defends clients in litigation and government investigations involving complex financial products and counsels market participants on regulatory and compliance matters.
