“Maintaining the Balance: Public Sector Labor Relations in a Time of Crisis,” New York State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section Fall 2020 Meeting

On October 23, Special Counsel Seth H. Agata will participate in a CLE presentation at the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Labor and Employment Law Section’s Fall 2020 Meeting. Mr. Agata will join fellow former chair of the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, Pauline Kinsella, and current chair, John Wirenius, in a discussion on the issues currently facing the public sector labor relations community, particularly in this year of widespread change. Titled “Maintaining the Balance: Public Sector Labor Relations in a Time of Crisis,” the program will include a discussion on the challenging new circumstances encountered this year, adapting to those circumstances, and what effect this year of change could have on the future. The discussion will be moderated by the former chair of the NYSBA’s Labor and Employment Law Section, Richard Zuckerman. Mr. Agata is a special counsel in Jenner & Block’s Litigation Department, and the former executive director of the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE). He is one of the nation’s leading professionals on lobbying laws and regulations and the ethics laws governing public official conduct.
