This presentation will address how a client can most effectively respond to a crisis. The panelists, including leaders of the firm’s Investigations, Compliance, and Defense; Government Controversies and Public Policy Litigation; and Congressional Investigations practices, will discuss how a company or entity can best conduct an internal investigation and interact with external stakeholders, including the Department of Justice, Congress, and other governmental enforcers, regulators, and entities, as well as employees, whistleblowers, and the public. The panel will discuss the sources of a crisis, best practices, risk mitigation, and paths forward to navigate serious and often existential challenges.
