Venesa Haska is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a programming Co-Chair of the Women Law Students Association and as an article editor of the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law. She also worked as a student advocate for the Property Tax Appeal Project (PTAP) where she assisted low-income homeowners in Detroit in appealing their property tax assessments. Venesa completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where she graduated with high distinction and honors in political science and a minor in history. Prior to law school, she interned at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, where she helped prepare asylum and naturalization applications for unaccompanied minors.
