Tomi Johnson received her JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2022. While in law school, she served as a senior articles editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal, as well as president of her graduating class and president of the Black Law Students Association. Tomi was also a student lawyer in the International Human Rights Clinic, working primarily on fair trial monitoring in Morocco, and received the Edward and Eleanor Shattuck Award for her contributions to the law school.

Before law school, Tomi worked as a project assistant in the business and tort litigation practice of a major international law firm. She graduated from Princeton University in 2016 with an AB in public and international affairs.
