Sriya is a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she served as a notes editor for the Northwestern University Law Review. As a law school student, Sriya was a co-president of the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA) and the vice president of events for the Women of Color Collective (WOCC). Sriya gained experience externing under the Honorable Sharon Johnson Coleman on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as developed knowledge of corporate risk management and privacy law when externing with in-house counsel at a biotechnology company. Sriya also developed an understanding of media law through externing with Lawyers for Reporters, which provides pro bono legal assistance to local journalism organizations across the United States. Prior to attending law school, Sriya was a Fulbright Award and Davis Projects for Peace Award recipient.
