Simonde Carvalho

Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Simon served as a Bristow Fellow in the United States Department of Justice’s Office of the Solicitor General (OSG). During his time at OSG, Simon participated in over 15 merits cases before the United States Supreme Court and successfully briefed and argued an appeal on behalf of the federal government before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Simon earned his JD from the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with high honors. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Michael Y. Scudder Jr. on the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, as well as for the Honorable Rachel P. Kovner on the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
