State of Florida, et al., a case challenging Florida’s House Bill 5 (HB 5) which bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Working in partnership with abortion service providers and civil liberties groups, a Jenner & Block team filed a lawsuit in Florida to block the implementation of a new state law that would ban abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy and could put doctors in jail for providing essential care beyond that point.

We now write to update you about two recent decisions in which two federal courts also found the CDC Order to be unlawful.

Since early 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused substantial hardship across the globe, including significant and widespread economic distress. The hardship has impacted the nations’ landlords small and large. For example, according to a January 2021 report published by Moody’s Analytics, 18% of renters nationwide—more than 10 million people—are behind on rental payments.
